The MTIS Choir
General objectives:
• to stimulate the interest in knowing, understanding and assimilating the musical material adapted to the children choir on 2,3,4 equal voices, divided into two groups: soprano (I,II) and alto(I,II);
• to develop the ability of vocal musical expression in a choir;
• to cultivate the spirit of emulation and cooperation by promoting solo voices within the choir;
• to form the ability to sing on more voices, each voice taking over at a certain timespan from the preceding one;
• to know and develop the creative artistical skills by combining vocal interpretation with elements of movement (song and dance);
• to approach all the musical genres according to individual characteristics and to the age group (folk music, classical music, byzantine music, light music etc.).
